What Is CGEPT?

The recruitment notification for the relevant batch explains the available roles, eligibility, selection stages, medical requirements and other conditions. Candidates should refer to the batch-specific recruitment advertisement rather than assume that all CGEPT batches have identical post details or eligibility rules.
Which Batches Will Appear for CGEPT 2027?
The SSC notice covers Indian Coast Guard batches 01/2027 and 02/2027. Both batches are included in the November 17–18, 2026 CBE schedule. The exact date, shift and examination centre applicable to an individual candidate should be confirmed through the official candidate communication.

The November 2 schedule notice confirms the examination dates but should not be treated as an admit-card release notice. Candidates should not rely on unverified social media posts or third-party dates for hall-ticket availability. Download the admit card only when the official recruitment portal activates the relevant link, and verify the candidate’s name, roll number, exam date, shift, centre address and reporting instructions.
Documents and Instructions for the Examination
Follow the instructions printed on the official admit card and the batch-specific recruitment notice. Candidates should keep the required photo identity proof and other documents ready, ensure that the photograph and identity details are legible, and avoid carrying prohibited electronic devices or unauthorised materials into the test centre.
